Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Clarification of Transcript

We recently had a court hearing on a trust matter in which my husband was one of the beneficiaries. The hearing was in June of 2001. There are some questions

having to do with the transcript of the hearing. We were just told that we could have a hearing to get a

clarification of the transcript. What does this involve? Do they go through the whole hearing again?

Is there a time limit on asking for this clarification?

Re: Clarification of Transcript

You probably have to order the transcript, let the judge read it and ask him or her what was meant by any ambiguous statement. Then, once the judge rules, prepare an order putting into the order the judge's words. Courts speak through their written orders.
