Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
How can you get a copy of a will or contest a will of a very close relative "Uncle" that had No children, I lived with him when I was younger, I am now a Licensed Builder and have been for 28 years now,and anything that he needed done on his home, I always came over & did for free. The last year before he passed, my father, "his brother" kept everyone away from him.By the way, my Uncle was a self made Millionaire but, he was blind. The last year before he passed, my father kept everyone away from him, he would not even let anyone know where he was buried. He also never let anyone see the will. My father lived in Michigan all his life, but, after his inheritance, he just got through building his 2nd home in Florida, still owns his home in Michigan, but doesn't associate with any of us (His four children). Is there a time limit? and can we get a copy of the will, if it is registered?

Check thr county probate court where your uncle lived. The probate file, if any, is a public record. www.kliszlaw.com. Tim Klisz
