Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My Dad passed away and he has a Family Trust set up which gives his house to me and my sisters after the death of his surviving wife. In their estate plan "3.1 Modifications and Revocations. Each of us reserve the right during our lifetime and the lifetime of the survivor to modify or revoke this trust in whole or in part by an instrument in writing." Does this mean that she can revoke the family trust and then keep the house for herself leaving us kids with nothing? thanks for your help!!

I would have to review the entire trust to determine the overall intent of the parties. It is odd to have such a provision where either spouse has children from a prior relationship. Please contact me to discuss in further detail at www.johntatone.com
