Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Disinherited do we have to notify person

My Sister passed away and in her Will that she did about 5 years before getting sick. Listed anothe Sister by name that she leaves no provisions to her for reasons she is aware of. We are getting conflicting info. One Attorney (handling Probate) says we have to notify her. We have conversed with a couple of others and they say no. How do we find out who is right or who is wrong. This will be like opening Pandora's box if we notify her. Not sure what to do

Re: Disinherited do we have to notify person

You have to notify her your attorney is correct. A sister is a descendant under the EPIC statute and must be served.
