Estate with a deceased benificiary

If the benificiary is deceased and there are no offsprings:

Who is next in line in the State of Michigan?

If a brother of the deceased is also deceased, is his offsprings entitle to some of the Estate.

I am not sure I understand the question, but I will give it a try!

First, the law of the state where the beneficiary lived will determine who receives the insurance proceeds, unless the insurance contract has an alternate provision. So you need to check the insurance contract. Assuming the contract does not have an alternate disposition, you look to see if the beneficiary has a will, as that would control. If there is no will, it will go to a spouse, if there is one. Since you have said there are no offspring, if there is no spouse, it goes to parents, no parents to siblings.
