Family Estate Inheritance

I was a co-signer on my mothers bank account and she died. My sibling took the money out of the account without my knowledge. This happened 18 years ago. Can I sue his estate for the thirty thousand dollars?

If you were joint on the account, then how could you not know the money had been taken for 18 years? That is the question any court or judge is going to ask you first, making it too late to do anything about it.
