Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
My father lives in MI. He has a Will leaving the responsibility for rental houses to me, with the income from those houses going to his wife (not my mother). Do I have the right to refuse acceptance when he passes and I am approached by a lawyer?

Yes, you do have the right to reject the acceptance of a bequest.
