Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

If my father passes away and has no will do his possessions end up in probate. His house and car are paid in full. My sister's name is on his banking information. Would the house and belongings end up in court or would it be left to the kids to be able to settle on their own??

If there is no one on the house, it will be in probate and follow Michigan law. If you need further advice, contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
