I filled out and printed Quicken Will, Power of Atty, Living will after completing the forms. Do I need a Lawyer in Michigan to file them?

You do not need to "file" the papers, however, you should let loved ones know where to find the documents. If you want to store the will at the county probate court, they will charge a small fee. The other documents only need to be accessed when used, however, you may want your bank to have a copy of the POA and your doctor to have a copy of the living will. Please call or e-mail me to discuss your matter in more detail. by giving copies to others, including the court, it may make it more difficult to change latter as you will have to hand in updated versions to all those that have the first version.
