the full job of an executor after the death of their employee
My aunt had an executor of her estate and has just passed away.I want to know what responsibilities this person has in handling her affairs after her death.

The executor of a decedent's Estate (referred to as Personal Representative in Michigan) is responsible for administering a decedent's Estate. Their duties include: paying all of the decedent's debts and taxes, opening a probate estate, notifying creditors of the decedent's death, accounting to beneficiaries of the Estate and distributing decedent's assets.
