Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
My grandfather (no blood relation) passed away in November. The trust documents indicated he was leaving his residence to my grandmother and I. However, there is a lein in the home due to a second mortgage. He has alot of debt and unpaid taxes. Is it best to walk away from the property to avoid having to pay the $64,000 second mortgage off?
