Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
I have a home in my living trust and, have decided to give the house to the beneficiary now instead. of them receiving the house after my death. what is the proper way for me to transfer the house to them now,I was told by one Attorney a quick claim deed but, another Attorney said this will not work because the house was already in trust and another deed must be used. This is a revocable trust and the house is a second home and is not my primary residence thank you

You can use a quit claim deed from the Trustee, which may be you, to the beneficiary on behalf of the trust. You may also wish to terminate the trust and/or transfer the house back to you and then to the beneficiary. Please contact me to discuss the best avenue, but it can be done relatively easily.
