Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Inheriting family Cabin

My two brothers & I inherited our family cabin. I have no interest in the cabin & only desire my 1/3 share of the fair market value.

My brothers want to use the cabin without buying out my 1/3 share.

What can I do legally?

Re: Inheriting family Cabin

You can sue in the probate court and either force a sale or get the others to pay you market rent. A sale at this time may not produce the money you want. William S. Stern

You can petition the probate court for the sale of the property.
