Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
Live in Michigan. My mom passed away 6 years ago. Since then my dad got a live in girlfriend and ended up putting his name and her name on the house and property, and made her power of attorney before his death. Are us kids entitled to anything? My friend told me that we are entitled to 1/3 of what the property is worth even though he made her power of attorney over his belongings?
