Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

How long do you have to dispute a will?

Our father passed several years, when we were teenagers. Being naive teens and not knowing understanding probate etc..and trusting others, we found that each of us three children recieved a $100 and the step mother and son ..everything else. Now that we have grown up a bit, it just doesn't seem right so we, my sibs and I are wondering how long you have to dispute something like this?

Thanks in advance

It depends on how the will was probated. However, you cannot successfully chalenge a will just because it 'doesn't seem right' there has to be a legal basis for a challenge.

Sorry I can't be more encouraging.
