Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
In Michigan my mother had alzhiemers, my mothers sister put money into an annuity in my mothers name to be sure she was taken care of, they both passed, who gets the annuity, my mothers children, or my mothers sisters children?

Whoever is the beneficiary of the annuity would be presumed to receive the money, however, if there is no beneficiary, it would go through probate. Generally, the will controls in probate. If there is no will, there is Michigan Law that dictates where the estate assets would go.
