Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
Mother passed, no will, no trust, no property, no home....no nothing. Outstanding auto car loan in mothers name. Following her death (Michigan resident) all agencies notified. Car repossed and now collection agency sending mail to the Estate Of....and making calls. No other name appears on the loan except that of the decedent. Wanting $7,500.

I'm sorry for your loss. If you tell them your mother died, there are no assets and no probate estate, they will go away. You are not responsible.
