Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Can POA reimburse themselves for their time and expenses?

Can a person with Power of Attorney pay themselves for their time and expenses? I was reading where PR's can pay themselves. I would do it without, but it would be nice to be reimbursed for gas, and time for doing banking, paying bills, shopping. etc etc Thank you
