Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

property without will

Hello, my father past away of cancer in 2006 and did not have a will. him and my mother were not legally married. my mom is wanting to sell the property that was in both of their names and keep all proceeds for herself. I do also have a bilogical sister as well. Do I have any rights to part or all of the property? Does my mom have any right to sell without my permission? How do I go about this legally? Thanks

IF they were not married, she has no rights to anything. Everything passes to the kids and you need to start and estate in the probate court in which you live with an experienced attorney.
