Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My question concerns inheritance from a biological father. My mother was never married to my biological father but he knew I did exist. When I was 2 my mother married and at age 3 my step father adopted me. Recently my biological father died and had no will. Since I was raised by my birth mother and my step father who adopted me am I still entitled to claim at least part of my biological fathers estate? He was no longer married when he died and he has no other children, I am his only chid. I was born and raised in Michigan and still live in Michigan.
