Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Question about last will

My mother recently passed away. My mom's mom has a will that states that all of her assets will be split among her two daughters... my mom and my aunt. Now that my mom has passed away, as long as her name stays in the will, will her portion of the assets come to myself and my sister?
