Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
My stepsons have written a new addendum after my husband (their father) passed away. What can be done to change it back to the original?

What is a "new addendum?" Addendum to what?
Good luck.
It sounds like your stepsons have created an addendum to a trust to modify the terms. I would have to review all of the documents to see if the addendum is valid. If it is not valid, which is often the case, there is no need to "change it back". If it is valid, I would need to see the document to determine if there is a way to change it back. In most cases, once a grantor dies, the trust becomes irrevocable and unchangeable, with few exceptions.
