Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

I was told I was in a will but the funeral was out of state and I wasn't able to go to the will reading. This was back in April. I still haven't recieved any money that was told I was suppose to get. Is there anyway to find out if I was actually in the will? And if so how do I get my will money?

Who told you this and how do you know they were telling the truth? If there was a lawyer involved, you need to contact him or her. You may also wish to contact the appropriate court in the county where the decedent resided to find out if an estate was opened with the court (wills generally do not always result in the opening of a case).
