Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
Trust Guardianship
To begin for clarification the trust was written in Michigan but the beneficaries currently live in New Jersey. Question...can my wife's sisters be named buy her mother as guardians/trustees for our children with no apparent grounds for same such as abuse, drug abuse, alcoholism etc.without providing a reason for this decision?

Re: Trust Guardianship
Trustees, yes. Guardians, No. Obviously, you are still living, so the guardianship would be of no value anyway. But, if she left money to your kids in "trust" she names the trustee and that is usually solid in Court. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
