Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
Trustee won't disburse
We are four sibs, who have equal shares of an estate. The trustee, our brother, has let the ins. and taxes go unpaid on the properties, and we are in danger of losing them. We want him replaced, and the next in line as trustee to take over. How?

Re: Trustee won't disburse
You will have to file a suit in the probate court for the removal of the trustee. You should get an experienced lawyer to do this. William S. Stern

Re: Trustee won't disburse
If he will not resign and allow the next Trustee to accept the appointment, then filing a Probate Court Petition seeking the desired outcome will likely be your best course of action. I suggest you seek counsel of an experienced probate attorney for specific guidance.
