Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
My wife has a General Power of Attorney for her father. He is in a nursing home. Is his attorney obligated to discuss any recent changes to his will or trust with my wife?

Depending on why he has a POA, and his current condition, he may not be in any state to make or change a will. If changes have been made, they could be challenged on grounds of capacity later in Court. However, to answer your question, the attorney has only an obligation to their client, not a POA. Tim Klisz
