Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Will and estate question.

I have lived with my grandparents since I was a child. They had partial custody of me until I turned 18. I am now 27. My grandfather passed away a few years ago and my grandmother just passed away this year. I was still living with them. Do I have to move or do I have a right so some of the property/house? There was a will, but the lawyer messed up with his terminology and we never caught the mistake. From what it says I only get tangible personal property, and they wanted me to get everything. They had me sit in the meetings with the attorney so I heard all their wishes. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Will and estate question.

If the attorney who drafted the will messed up, you may have a cause of action against him. I suggest contacting a lawyer who specialixes in wills/estates who can advise you on what to do regarding the will, and regarding the other attorney's possible boo boo. Try Michael Muma in Plymouth, 734.453.1976. He's excellent. Please tell him I sent you. Thanks and good luck.
