Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Wills

My father resently passed away. He left all to my mother in his will. They have been married for 46 years. My father has 4 children from his first marriage, that he left nothing to in his will. They are older than 18. Are they entiltled to anything that was left to my mother? Can they take anything if something happens to her?

Re: Wills

Unless he was of unsound mind at the making of his will, it is valid and his wife gets all assets in the Estate. This wouldn't be the case under Michigan intestatcy law (without a will), but a will trumps all. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss the details. Tim Klisz
