seeing dr for back injury wihout filling a claim..can i now
i am a private investigator and have been working for my company for 2 yrs full time. I started haveing lower back pain for the past year due to sitting for 8 to 12 hours a day. I did not want to file a wc claim for fear of termination of my job due to the company being so small 15 empoyees. i have been seeing a dr for over a year and never took time off work. but now it is gettting much much worst. Question: can i get wc for this injury now that i know it is...and continues to get bad due to sitting at work. my dr.says it from all my sitting and i have truck driver,bus driver symdrome due to sitting. help..

In order to receive workers' comp, you have to not only have a job related injury, but must lose time and wages. You may be able to prove your case, but it won't be that easy. And it won't be worthwhile unless you stop working, which is unlikely. William S. Stern
