Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

Where can I find a workmans' compensation lawyer in Michigan?

I received a Notice of Dispute and my doctors believe it to be unwarranted and ridiculous. I need to get a lawyer, however, I am a self-supported college student and cannot pay for legal services unless a claim is won. I have already suffered financially from the insurance company's incompetence and bankruptcy. As I have no knowledge of workers' compensation law, I need help. Please, help me.

Most workers comp attorneys will work on a contingency fee based agreement. If they are asking for you to pay up front don't use them. I work on comp cases and take 15% of the first 25,000 recovered. Please give me a call and we can discuss your case further. Best Wishes! (800)LAW-6685

Workers Compensation cases are taken on a contingency basis. Fees for attorneys are set by the State of Michigan and are tiered based on the amounts you receive. It's 15% of the first $25,000 and 10% thereafter (if no trial).

We are pleased to discuss this matter with you. Please call (800) 209-4000 at your convenience. I will be out of the office this afternoon so you may call my office and speak with one of our paralegals or you can always reach me on my mobile number at (248) 882-7218.

Workers Compensation lawyers all charge a percentage of the recovery. On settlements, the fee is 15% of the first $25,000 and 10% for all amounts in excess of $25,000. If the case goes to trial, the fee is 30% of the past due amount owed. So you do not have to worry about paying a lawyer out of your pocket. I specialize in workers compensation in the ti-county area. Feel free to give me a call. If you live outside of the tri-county area, call me and I will give you some names of attorneys who specialize in comp.
