Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

improper procedure of policies and procedures

My ex boss was questioned at a unemployment case and asked to read the policy outloud of the place I worked at as far as proper procedure when terminationg an employee....she answered NO to the question Did you follow proper procedure when terminating my clinet. Still the judge is asking me to give back all my unemployment benefits. Should I counter suit? Is it worth it? Can I sue my company as she testified and answered in court that she did not follow proper procedure yet terminated me? Can I do anything about this? Thank you!

Re: improper procedure of policies and procedures

The fact that the boss did not use proper procedures in terminating you is irrelevant to the fact that you were getting fired anyway. You have no damages. William S. Stern
