You should file a workers compensation claim utilizing a lawyer with a great deal of experience in this area. The difficulty that you will have, is the employer will contend that the fact you were working as of the last day of work means that you have established the ability to perform work in the economy. Your contention will be that you were on favored work and have a disability that prevents you from working elsewhere. I have a great deal of experience in this field. If you are in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb or Washtenaw County, give me a call to discuss your situation. My phone number is 248-353-9400. Bill Stern
