Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

Last January i slipped getting out of my car during work. The following day i was sent to our WC Dr. due to having numbness from my hip to my big toe. The Dr. sent me away without any exam and said i must have hit my hip and take Tylenol for the pain. I had been living with the numbness and pain until 3 weeks ago when i went back to the WC Dr. This Dr. ordered xrays and physical therapy with a follow up in 2 weeks. My follow up was yet with another Dr. who ordered an MRI. My MRI results came back with a ruptured disc L4 and L5 and an appointment to see a surgoen. My question is, my employer made me use my earend time off, PTO, because my appointments and PT was during work hours. Is this right?
