Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

How long does a claim last?

I injured an ear in a work related accident about 10 years ago. I recieved workmans compensation during 2 surgerys. Now I need a hearing aid for the ear. Can I go back on workmans compensation to pay for the hearing aid? What if the company is no longer in business?

The workers compensation carrier is still liable.
