Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan
Over-time on Workers Comp.
Someone at my work recently cracked there finger while on the job. She was put on restrictions and could not return to her normal job duties. This department is scheduled to work weekend overtime. Does the employer have the right to refuse her work while she's on restrictions because of an incedent that occured at work? Or does the company have to find the employee work that can be performed within the employees limitations?

Re: Over-time on Workers Comp.
If the company does not find her work within her restrictions, they must pay comp. The company normally wants to find the employee work to get out of paying comp or at least minimize what they owe. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
