pain and suffering

When settling a redemption settlement can pain and suffering be implicated in the redemption, since your basically giving up all your rights to workers comp.

There is no pain and suffering compensation in workers' compensation. The elements are basically wage loss (only for the proper rate which is always much lower than you made), medical bills (paid under cost containment so the doctors do not get all they want) and in appropriate cases, vocational rehabilitation and attendant care.
