Worker's Compensation

If an employee is hurt at a mandatory work seminar but the accident occured during the break period by another coworker. Is the employee entitled to worker compensation? If they are who pays for the bills, what is the compensation for the suffering, and are they elligible for reinstatement to employment?

If the injury occurred at the site where the seminar was occurring, you are probably okay and it will be compensable. You get your wage loss for the time off and medical bills paid. There is no pain and suffering in workers' compensation. William S. Stern
