Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

workmans comp and am i doing the right things

I fell at work and hurt my back on 7-2-07 was taken to hospital by ambulance they did cat scan of my head, neck and chest and x-ray of lower back sent me home with vicoden and motrin. no broken bones or fractures told me to report to work well on 7-5-07 went there and the physicians assistant examined me further and told me no work and to come back on 7-9-07 also gave me more vicodin plus flexeril. I told her i have pain in my lower back and buttocks, pain down my right leg with numbness and tingling and my shoulders, arms and hands hurt. at times i get burning sensation in these areas to. I also have had problems with the bathroom area. what do i do next ? Am I doing the right thing ? My employer has all the paper work so far
