Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
if my case is dismissed, will my background become clear again?

It depends. If your case is dismissed, BCA records might reflect the arrest. Licensing agencies may still consider the arrest when deciding whether to issue a license to you. Court records will reflect the arrest, as well.
You can apply to expunge the records from all sources, and depending on the reason for dismissal the law may be in your favor. Forms necessary to beging the expungement process are available on the Minnesota court's website, and many people hire attorneys or approach legal services agencies for help with this process. I think it is worth it to expunge the records, as some employers or rental companies don't know how to read criminal record checks, and may assume guilt despite the dismissal.
Good luck!
No. Your Minnesota Court System record would show that you were charged and that the case was dismissed. If the charges were dismissed, you may follow up by filing for a Statutory Expungement to have te record erased or sealed so that it would not appear on any background check.
