Are you talking about one of the Disability programs administered by the US Social Security Administration?

It depends then, on whether you are receiving Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (Title 2 of the Social Security Act) or Supplemental Security Income (Title 16.) If you are getting any SSI, you may already have serious repercussions.

Check ssa.gov or contact your local District Office (the 800 number is worse than useless.)
