Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Minnesota
conciliation court appeal hearing
My judgement is being appealed to District court. What is the protocol and purpose of a hearing and do I subpoena my witness again.

District court cases are far more involved than conciliation court. The rules are more stringent nad it is likely discovery will occur before any trial.
In a trial, it may be before a jury or a Judge. You would have to call witnesses and present evidence pursuant to the Rules of Evidence at any trial.
