Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota
Adversary Proceeding
I filed Bankrupcy in 1979. Included was a $5,000 Student Loan. I just found out that it apparently wasn't discharged because an Adversary Proceeding was not filed at the time, and now the creditors asking for $16,000. Can I file an Adversary Proceeding now? I have proof of hardship.

Re: Adversary Proceeding
You should be able to make a motion to reopen the case. Once the case is reopened, then you can do your adversay.
It might be easier, however, to just file a new bankruptcy.
