Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota
File for Bankrupcy?
I recently lost my job and am existing on unemployment. It is not paying the bills. If I were to file for Chapter 7, would I be able to keep my car and basically declare bankrupcy on my credit cards? I am single and have only the one vehicle but the company I have my car loan through can't or won't do anything to lower my monthly payments even though for the past 3 years I have made payment on time. Would you suggest I look into chapter 7?

Chapter 7 is probably a good idea for you. You can probably keep the car. Contact me for a free consultation about this.

I would be glad to discuss your case. Just give me a call. Keeping the car is possible, but depends on a number of circumstances.
You can read up on that issue on my web site at http://www.mn-bankruptcy.com.
