I am looking at filing bankruptcy, I have a cabin that I have on a contract for deed with another person, do I claim that also as an asset?

You need to list all of your assets. However, it may be possible to protect some or all of your equity in the cabin, depending on what else you own. A bankruptcy attorney convenient to you can help you do the calculations about what assets can and cannot be protected.
