Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota

I'm considering filing for bankruptcy, I was wondering who can find out what we own? For example can anyone go online or search records for vehicles registered to us?

Leaving aside the ethics, whether or not anyone could find out what you own, it is a bad idea to try to hide things. Every now and then someone gets caught at it and is sent off to federal prison as an example to others. Talk to an experienced bankruptcy attorney, tell him or her truthfully what you own, and find out what, if anything, you would lose if you were to file bankruptcy. My clients are usually pleasantly surprised at how much can be legally protected.
