Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota
Filing again
I filed chapter 7 in 2006 in Illinois. Am I able to file in the state of Minnesota even though it is not 6 years.

Bankruptcy is a creature of federal, not state, law. Your prior bankruptcy was filed in a federal court. If you filed a Chapter 7 anywhere in the U.S. during the last eight years, you can't do it again in anywhere in the U.S.
