Hello. You had answered my question regarding filing separately from my husband and his 401K being garnished. You wanted to know what type of debt I was referring to. It is about $55K in credit card mistakes. Our cars are pretty inexpensive - mine is a Saturn, which is paid off and my husband owns a Grand Prix and only owes about $1500 on it. Our cars are in our own names. Our house is about $365K and we have lived in it since 2005. (I had asked if our cars and house could be taken). What are your thoughts? The reason I am asking about all of this is because I had a baby in May and I will be working about 16-20 hours per week so I can stay home during the day with the baby. My husband works full-time and makes pretty good money, but we cannot afford to keep up with my debt. Thanks for your help!
