Re: Notice of Entry and Docking of judgment

If this is a judgment against you from a creditor, that creditor is now primed to start looking at what assets of yours can be levied or garnished. If that creditor knows where you bank, he/she/it can levy on your bank account. If the creditor knows where you work, watch out for a wage garnishment.

If you are unable to make a deal with the creditor, you might want to look into bankruptcy. I would be glad to discuss that with you. You can find my contact info at my web site: www.bkylaw.com.

Re: Notice of Entry and Docking of judgment

It is a notice from the court administration that their records have been changed to show that there is a judgment "of record" in their office. As to what to do, that probably depends on your financial situation. If this is the only problem you have, and if you can afford to do so, you could try to work out a payment plan with the judgment creditor. If you are "uncollectible" and have no money, I suppose you could ignore it until your financial situation straightens out.
