Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota
I'm seperated from my husband for about a 1 year,Can I file for bankruptcy with out him? All cards are in my name only he is not on any of the acounts.

You should be able to do so. There may be some impact on which set of exemptions you use.

Yes. We just have to be sure that we properly classify you as married but separated.
The primary limit on who can file under the 2005 law is your income. That would be the first thing we would have to review.
