Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota
In 2005 I was paid a retainer by a corporation I had done work for in the past. They never bothered using the money and now 4 years later, they want a refund. What are my obligations? How timely must I repay them?

A retainer, by definition, is an advance payment for future services. If you did not have any written contract indicating that any portion of the retaienr was non-refundable, you must refund the entire payment.
